About Your Dentist
Dr. Anderson was born in San Diego and moved shortly after to the Cheney/Spokane area where his dad, James Anderson, set up his medical practice. After high school he spent a year in Japan teaching English then went back to California where he was accepted into Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry. While there he met his wife and they were married at the end of his sophomore year. After graduating they moved back to the Northwest to set up his practice and start a family. He and his wife of 36 yrs and have 3 grown children, the oldest in aviation and twins in college. Over his life he has enjoyed many adventurous sports such as skydiving, hang-gliding and scuba diving, as well as golfing and cycling. He is still an avid cyclist and skier. He has donated his time and skill to mission work in such places as Papua New Guinea, Mexico, Borneo and Dominican Republic. He has served on numerous boards and committees in Spokane and for the State of Washington. He has seen his practice family grow and has made many lasting friendships. He loves dentistry and continues to expand his skills by adding new technology and techniques as advances are made to improve oral health.
